NOYONA

BIO

Noyona is a painter, hand-drawn illustrator and creative writer.

She has been practicing her craft passionately since childhood and studied Visual Arts (higher level) in high school.

Having since decided to pursue a rewarding career as an artist, she is currently in her final year of the Diploma of Fine Arts program at Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore.

Her works have been exhibited at the Lasalle Open House in her first and second years.

STATEMENT

As a fine artist, Noyona focuses on creating a visual narrative that depicts her relation to her internal and external environments. Her artworks explore core themes such as emotion, the personification of nature, esoterica and animism.

Her studio works are created  using oils, acrylics, inks as well as charcoal and pens. She has also explored other methods and mediums such as print making, sculpture, collage work, graphic novel, creative writing and film.

Her attention to detail, her depth of research as well as her strong understanding of the visual language allow her artworks to grow organically, while maintaining their conceptual structure.
